WORK HISTORY
Video Editor, Marvel Entertainment 2008-2010
For Marvel I shot on HDV and XD cameras, I lit sets primarily for sit down interviews and chroma key. I edited and created (shoot and animate artwork) video promos, packages and event pieces for Marvel.com. As one of their main video technicians I was involved in working with various compression schemes and understand codec’s for use in both dvd and web distribution.
Freelance Audio (A1), Fox News Channel 2007-2008
Mix and record audio for live studio news shows and cut-ins as well as recorded pieces. This included working on both analog and digital mixing boards, digi-carts and routing systems. I’ve worked on primarily prime time hard news.
Freelance Audio/Video Engineer (A1), Telemundo/NBC 2004-2008
Mix studio audio for live news broadcast, prep, set up and mix live music on set as well. Operator for Robotic Camera’s, well versed in color correction and shading with the use vector scopes and wave-form monitors. Worked in Master Control operations including ingest with servers, dub video of various formats and edit news packages, teasers and voice over’s and work with routing systems that included live truck and satellite truck feeds.

Mix and record sound for Electronic Field Productions and industrial videos. This involved setting up lights, electrical equipment, running cables, setting up cameras and ultimately mixing audio from portable gear involving boom and wireless Lav-mics.

Shoot and mix sound for Electronic News Gathering on
location and in studio. Operate Beta-SX camera with a variety of video
equipment including recording decks and lighting. This

trucks and news vans, setting up cameras and ultimately mixing audio from

Utility Man, Beyond Our Reality Productions 2000-2001
Assemble electronic newsgathering, Field production and Super 16 packages. Load, unload, and set up equipment for shoots. Assist cameraman and soundman on location with wiring, cables and lighting.
Aviation Ordnance Man, U.S. Navy 1993-1997
Assemble, maintain and disassemble bombs, bomb fuses, missles and rockets. Also maintain the magazine spaces that held ammunition (20mm), C-4 onboard the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln CVN-72. My skills in this area fall under Electrician. As an outside activity I was a radio announcer/DJ for Armed Forces Radio and Television.
